This album has pics I took in Kumaon. Kumaon is a part of the North Indian State of Uttaranchal. The state, also known as Devbhoomi or The Abode of Gods, is richly endowed by nature. The region boasts of wild life destinations like Binsar Bird sanctuary and Jim Corbett National Park, famous for its tigers. There are also other destinations like Nainital, Hardwar, Ranikhet and Rishikesh which are famous for natural beauty, Holy Temples, apple orchards and adventure sports like trekking and white water rafting in the Ganga. You can reach their from Delhi, which is the nearest airport or Kathgodam, the nearest railhead.
